Youth and Women Empowerment
Today, the majority of young adults are unemployed in Uganda. We are committed to providing opportunities to both youth by teaching them practical skills to empower them to enter and develop their own businesses within the agricultural sector. We especially support women, who are generally underrepresented in the agricultural world.
Farming as a Business
Traditionally, farming in sub-Saharan Africa has been practiced simply to provide a livelihood for families. We aim to support farmers transition to a more entrepreneurial approach, otherwise known as "farming as a business". To achieve this, we focus on introducing agribusiness value chain studies, research, enterprise development, and technologies.
Environmental conservation
We believe in mitigating climate change and responsible management of natural resources through sustainable agriculture. All of our products are organically developed and our business incubators are constantly working to create new sustainable solutions such as charcoal saving stoves, charcoal briquettes,tree nurseries, woodlots and forest establishment.
